The villa takes its name from the Javanese word for peace, day-dreaming, relaxing, being empty-minded while lying prostrate and gazing at the sky. There are four individual bedroom suite villas, two with private plunge pools, surrounding a beautiful 2-storied Balinese style house set in beautiful landscaped gardens. The main house consists of an open living area, an air-conditioned dining room and kitchen with a second storey lounge area with commanding views of the ocean. In the garden, the main pool with pool bar is set just above the Ayung river that flows down from Ubud. Villa Leha-Leha comes complete with live in maid, cook and handyman.
This is not your average rental villa, it was designed and built in 2000 for use as a second home, and it is being constantly renovated and upgraded to keep it in beautiful modern condition. You will feel very much as if you are stepping into a private home rather than a rental villa. There are so many beautiful details in every part of the house, even the bathrooms have unique features! Each bathtub is positioned beside a picture window with doors opening into a small private walled garden. The doors can be opened to create an alfresco bathing experience, and there is also an open-air shower in each of the private gardens!
